  • Email address — provided when you sign in, used for authentication and sending price alert notifications
  • Search history — product codes and country selections you search for, stored to let you revisit previous comparisons
  • Price alert preferences — product codes, countries, and thresholds you set for price drop notifications
  • Country preferences — your selected IKEA countries, saved for convenience

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

  • Authenticate your account via email one-time-password
  • Display your search history and saved preferences
  • Send price drop alert emails when products you watch decrease in price
  • Improve and maintain the Service

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase (database and authentication) — your email and data are stored in Supabase's EU-based infrastructure
  • Resend (email delivery) — used to send OTP codes and price alert notifications
  • Fly.io (hosting) — the application is hosted on Fly.io servers

Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete individual searches and alerts at any time through the application. To delete your account entirely, contact us at noreply@ikeapricecomparison.com.

We use essential cookies only for authentication (session management). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party advertising cookies.
